Sometimes timing is important when you read a book. Where are you mentally and physically in life's journey, and can a particular book impact you as you take away the experience of reading something? I have known the author for a long time, and enjoyed reading the first book of this series. As I opened the book and started to read, I had no expectations as to where this would go, or what my takeaway would be upon completion.

I was nothing short of amazed at the message that was sent by the author in an intriguing set up for the reader. As some one who has faced a bunch of medical adversity and additional challenges, I was pulled in by some of the tips offered by the main character. Quite simply, "live a grateful life" resonated the most with me, and I feel it is something I need to do every day. I truly enjoyed this book, and feel that any reader can take something out of it. Take some time, and experience the book, and reflect on your own life as you are reading tips that may help you personally.

We decided to support a local author Jerry Moyer and buy his books.  We read them on vacation.  Highly suggest buying for motivation and training your mindset!  You can find them on Amazon and they are a quick read.

"WHY THIS BOOK IS SOOOOO... FLY"!

Why ED & 8 is simply great! This is an intriguing storyteller's point of view of an ordinary fly, discovering his own latent individualism as a creature perhaps made in God's image (my interpretation), as he summons the courage to spread his wings and take flight. A live, active account of a podcast station in full 'action mode', including a producer, real-time promos (for all those inquisitive flies listening in) as well as the main characters (a famous podcaster, Ed Flylett, a profound motivator in his own right) and Fly #8 (recently famous from his autobiographical account of his first 'flying experience' from the author's first title: A TIME TO FLY)... a liberating self-described journey of flight, including the fears and anxieties commonly experienced by those yearning to fly.
It's a story about feeling fear, overcoming obstacles and digging deep when all seems dark a foreboding. It's a story of never giving up or giving in and facing one's fear, by taking action and start flapping those wings. If you've ever dreamt of flying and been scared and titillated at the same time, you'll want to cozy up with the characters in this quirky self-help tome. They'll give you some tips, 8 in fact to get you ready for take-off! You may leave others behind, but the thrill will be worth it. It left me thinking... flying doesn't just get you from point A to B, it's a journey to be indulged in, wholly and completely, so fly on!
